Empowering Creative Content
About Redmond 3D
At Redmond 3D, we are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of 3D conversion technology and creative development. We rebuilt the process with AI, automation, and cloud infrastructure, enabling feature deliveries in 1–2 months (often ~4 weeks) at roughly a sixth of legacy cost. Proprietary tools—including a real‑time 4K warper and our Redline interactive stereo‑grading software—let supervisors and directors refine depth and grade live on a single timeline. TPN‑approved and production‑proven, with recent work completed from initial asset pull to finals in ~33 days and ~3 weeks of active artist time.

Redline
Redline: interactive stereo grading—in the suite, in real time.
Redmond’s proprietary OFX plugin generates simultaneous left‑ and right‑eye views in real time at 4K, running natively on Nvidia GPUs, Apple Silicon, and CPUs.

Paired with Redline, supervisors and directors work on a single timeline with high‑end grading panels, adjust stereo on the fly, and push updates straight into the pipeline—right from a laptop in the grading room.
What creators get
-
Instant depth adjustments and stereo grading during reviews—no waiting on re‑renders.
-
Tight pipeline integration that auto‑updates timelines with artist renders and notes.
-
Real‑time 4K left/right generation for confident aesthetic decisions.
Global workforce with cloud native infrastructure
Scale up to a full show in minutes—with TPN‑approved infrastructure.
Redmond’s multi‑region storage shares high‑speed data globally without manual syncing; on‑demand cloud workstations spin up or down as needed, letting productions scale from 0→100 in minutes.

Automation sits on top of ShotGrid to fully ingest a feature, generate depth/roto/stereo pairs, and create Nuke templates within hours—tracking every input, output, and status along the way.

The pipeline is TPN‑approved; a single operator can ingest an entire film and produce a complete conversion pass overnight, with reel‑level depth changes possible just hours before delivery.
Operational highlights
-
Multi‑region storage that “just works,” with cost controls when regions are idle.
-
Standardized, right‑sized artist machines—available anywhere in the world.
-
Automation capable of processing thousands of shots per hour.

Weeks, Not Months
AI‑accelerated stereo 3D conversion built for theatrical quality and tight timelines.

Legacy 2D‑to‑3D conversions take 4–6 months, involve hundreds of artists, and cost $5–7M. Redmond rebuilt the process with AI, automation, and cloud so features can be delivered in 1–2 months—and on recent titles in about four weeks—at roughly a sixth of legacy costs.
Why it’s faster
-
Production‑proven pipeline that turns “weeks into days,” reducing hands‑on time with automation.
-
Runs inside tools teams already know (Nuke / Resolve / Shotgrid), so there’s no new platform to learn.
-
Director‑friendly workflow with live sessions to dial in depth quickly.
Note: Timelines and pricing vary by scope
